Degree in Medicine and Surgery in March 1988 at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” with a grade of 110/110

Specialization in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases – Diabetology in December 1993 at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” with 70/70 cum laude

Winner of the PhD in Endocrinological and Metabolic Sciences (IX ° cycle) at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”.

Winner of the Scholarship for the Preventive Medicine survey on Cardiovascular Diseases of the University of Turin based in Rome from April 1991 to December 2000. In this context she also created and followed a nutritional project in the Telecom company: “The nutrition in company canteens relating to the healthy and sick person ”

In 1994 she served as Assistant in Medicine at the San Pietro Fate Bene Fratelli Hospital in Rome.

Since 23 February 1995 she have been serving in the ASL RM C as a General Practitioner affiliated with the S.S.N.

From March 2003 to December 2005, she worked with a project contract at the Complex Operational Unit of Diabetology and Metabolic Diseases in the ASL RM D.

From 2003 to 2006 she held as Lecturer numerous continuing training courses in the field of diabetes (“Vascular complications of diabetes and on the diabetic foot”, “Current news on Insulin Therapy in Diabetes Mellitus”, “Postmenopausal hormone therapy in diabetic women : do the risks of coronary heart disease increase? “,” Follow up of the diabetic patient: metabolic control and chronic complications “,” Lifestyle: what impact on the diabetic heart? “) (ECM with recognition of training credits at the Lazio Region ).

In 2006 she presented a project on Educational Therapy in Diabetes Mellitus at ASL RMC District XI, organizing meetings in primary schools with parents and teachers

In 2006 she presented a project on screening for Osteoporosis at ASL RMC District XI by performing a total of 1000 ultrasound bone densitometries on women of perimenopausal age in Lazio.

Since 2006 she has been the regional contact for the Primary Care Unit in District XI – ASL RMC-Lazio Region

She regularly practices freelance as an Endocrinologist and Diabetology and Eating Disorders.
